We are seeking a Sr. Key Account Manager, Meijer & HyVee to join our team.

The Sr. Key Account Manager will lead a cross-functional team to deliver business results across assigned customers. This individual will be responsible for leading annual planning processes, negotiating agreements, and ensuring alignment and execution to meet aggressive business targets. They will provide expertise to resolve complex customer issues and help achieve BODYARMOR 's annual goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Development

  • Strategic leader responsible for direct customer/business management of the assigned channel.
  • Create and develop vision and strategy to support both long-term and short-term objectives.
  • Build and implement joint business planning models for customers.
  • Drive processes and execution of annual plans, delivering key metrics such as revenue, volume, share, trade spend, and T&E budgets.
  • Partner with senior management and cross-functional teams to develop annual plans.
  • Lead negotiations to establish optimized partnership agreements.
  • Collaborate on customer selling stories, insights, and execution metrics like assortment, shelving, pricing, merchandising, and innovation.
  • Monitor account performance, identify gaps, and recommend solutions.
  • Develop external relationships with major accounts to enhance market positioning.

System Leadership

  • Participate in system routines (CCLT, Customer core Teams) for updates and performance tracking.
  • Work closely with Coca-Cola NAOU and Bottler Customer Leads to maximize results.
  • Build relationships with internal teams and bottlers to align efforts.

Cross-Functional Communication and Collaboration

  • Provide regular updates on customer plans and opportunities.
  • Participate in routines to ensure flawless execution of programs.
  • Contribute customer insights to marketing, commercial, and innovation plans.

Organizational/People Development

  • Leverage cross-functional resources to deliver top-tier capabilities.
  • Manage the department's T&E budget in line with financial objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors Degree or relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of direct sales experience in the CPG industry, with a proven record of success in multiple retail channels.
  • Preferred candidates located in Michigan, Chicago, or Des Moines.
  • Experience building strategic relationships with national retailers.
  • Ability to analyze syndicated data and craft data-driven stories.
  • Self-motivated, organized, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial.
  • Ability to quickly assess needs, develop action plans, and manage change.
  • Passion for brand building, new products, and growth.
  • Existing contacts with buyers and divisional managers.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Nielsen/IRI data analysis.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% and attend bi-annual meetings.
  • Valid drivers license and clean Motor Vehicle Records.
