Job Description

Directly Reports to: Chief of Staff, Executive Team

Collaborating Team: Collaborates with Chief of Staff, Executive Team, Director Team 

Provides Leadership to: Hospitality Lead, FOH/BOH Operational Leads 

Entire FOH/BOH Team Members 

Schedule Commitment: 42-48 hrs weekly. 25-28 hrs Support/Lead OPS, 12-18 hrs ADMIN

Key Expectations/Responsibilities: 

  • Culture 101- Consistently strive for Culture Excellence. Implement + be accountable to truly being Palm Harbors favorite place to work. Own birthdays, anniversaries and lead initiatives for Team Member Experience. Winning Hearts Everyday at the helm of culture. 
  • Recruiting- Lead, Schedule and conduct Open interviews and all onboarding + hiring. Consistently Communicate/Check in with scheduling Leadership to ensure we are at proactive staffing levels. Lead/ Manage all onboarding platforms. HR will support this train/transition. Facilitate support from HR + Director Team as needed. 
  • FOH Operations Excellence- support FOH operations excellence when scheduled. Primary role to support FOH Leadership Team. Lead with excellence and care. Support and hold Leadership Team accountable to Ops Excellence daily, based around Winning Hearts Everyday. Communicate moments of success and opportunity. Coach on the spot with care and understanding. Work with COS, EDO for ways to consistently grow here. 
  • Chick-fil-A, Palm Harbor Team Member First Impression- Lead, Schedule and Conduct all Team Member Orientations following policies/procedures, onboarding into back office system and initial hot schedules completion. Ensure all proper documents on file and up to date. 
  • Chick-fil-A, Palm Harbor Guest First Impression- own the restaurant experience for our guest, to be in a clean and safe environment. Dining Room Cleanliness, Seasonal decor, Genuine Hospitality, etc. 
  • Retention- Partner with HR Director to complete all Team Member 30 day Check Ins. Communicate with OPS leadership on progress and follow up with success/opportunities here. Organize Calendly links for 30 check in w/ ops leadership. Coordinate with scheduler team member 6 month review at 2 week check in and own completion here. (transition from Alexa)
  • Training - BI-Weekly check in with the Training Director for Pathway completion and ongoing training. Communicate with OPS leadership success and opportunity here. Ensure Winning Hearts Everyday is at the foundation of our training.
  • Disciplinary Forms/Tracking- Support HR Director in for consistency in tracking and Communicate all write ups, attendance points and actions. Communicate + Track resignations/terminations, etc. Provide support for 1:1 conversations and disciplinary
  • Miscellaneous Administrative:

> Report on Retention. Assess areas of Success/Opportunities.

> CEM overview, focus on Attentive/Courteous and Refresh + Restore

> Support Completion of Leadership Assessment WT daily.

> Communicate Staffing Goals + current New Hires.

> Coordinate, Schedule and Celebrate reviews, anniversaries, birthdays and promotions. 

> Support Team Leads in Daily Jolt completion for creating a Foundation of WHED.

Teams

  • DAILY accountability alongside the Leadership Team (ED, Managers and Team Leads) on daily action plan, day part success and overcoming areas of opportunity. Strategically support/plan, adjust in the moment and follow up with success and opportunities here. Be a Master of successful CFAPH Operations and be able to train your teams at a high level. Are we set up for Winning Hearts Everyday? Is the Guest Experience at the forefront of all we do.
  • Identify up and coming leaders in both FOH/BOH and ReMARKable Team Members to develop a Training + Growth Plan for them.
  • Support Entire Leadership Team with accountability and adherence to all CFAPH Handbook on policies and procedures.
  • Communicate + Seek guidance on areas of opportunity within the Executive Team. Collaborate ways to consistently challenge and grow internally.

Director Meeting (2x monthly)

Team Lead Meeting (1x monthly)

Team Members: Orientation, 2 week check in, Bi-Annual Review (FOH + BOH)

1:1 Commitment

Weekly: Executive Director of Ops, HR Director, Hospitality Lead 

Bi-Weekly: Chief of Staff, Training Director, FOH OPS Director, FC Lead(s)

Monthly: Training Manager

Team Leads: 2 per month (1FOH/1BOH)

Metrics + Stewardship/Scorecard

  • Support consistent goal driven growth in Productivity Rate through training + cross-training and accountability of team member
  • Support OPS Leadership supports and is actively engaged in reaching and maintaining a FOOD Safety Score of “good” or better. 
  • Support good stewardship of facilities through proper training in cleaning & care of equipment.
  • Certified in all Pathway. Aware of all proper and best practices of each position. Be able to coach on the spot on success/opportunities.
  • Understand, Coach and Support proper staffing levels based on training success, productivity and sales goals.
  • Overall understanding of positions in Back of House, Food Cost gaps, Facilities basics, etc.
