Position Overview:

Title: Summer Intern

Department: Product Development | Project Management & Sourcing | Marketing & eCommerce

Location: Willowbrook, Illinois

Type: Internship; Hybrid (June 2025-August 2025; 3+ days/week in-office)

Compensation: $20/hour; possibility for a full-time offer post-graduation

*this position is open to current college students with a December 2025 or May 2026 expected graduation date.

We are looking for a creative, communicative, entrepreneurial intern to join Tru this summer! As an Intern at Tru Fragrance & Beauty, you will be a contributing member of either our Product Development team, our Project Management & Sourcing team, and/or our eCommerce and Marketing team. This hands-on internship will empower you to develop valuable skills in communication, organization, and creativity while contributing to exciting projects that shape the growth and identity of of our owned brands, Le Monde Gourmand and Tru Western.

Key Responsibilities :

Product Development

• Provide development support to team members as needed on project launches.
• Research and report on market and product trends.
• Meeting coordination, minutes & follow-ups.
• Enhance your communication skills through cross-department and industry interaction.
• Help to create product information sheets and guide marketing in new product launches.

Project Management & Sourcing

• Assist with project coordination, vendor communication, and product sourcing activities, providing hands-on experience in managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and supporting new product launches.

Marketing & eCommerce

• Brand Store Management & Optimization
• Regularly audit the Amazon brand stores, our competitors, and social media.
• Develop insights and recommendations based on audit findings and present to team.
• Assist with the implementation of optimization projects, including creative briefings and asset development.

Qualifications:

• Currently studying Product Development, Marketing, Project Management, General Business, etc.
• Ability to work full time; Monday through Friday commitment.
• Hybrid Schedule, but willing to come into the office 3-4 days/week.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. and the ability and willingness to learn other internal systems as necessary.
• Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to devise practical solutions.
• Ability to work with internal and external partners.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Expected Graduation of December '25 or May '26.
