Senior Process Improvement Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create detailed process maps to identify opportunities to reduce process variation, improve process capabilities and optimize process performance.
• Optimize processes to deliver effective outcomes, cost savings, improved reliability and support new initiatives.
• Drive the Standardization of processes and implementation of metrics and best practices.
• Identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities throughout the enterprise, including IT, Operations, Technical Services, Finance, HR, amongst others.
• Execute and achieve process improvement objectives on schedule in a team environment. Support strategic objectives to increase productivity, improve quality, and enhance safety.
• Use of Lean and Six Sigma principles to analyze problems associated with technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Lead process improvement projects utilizing sound project management techniques and see projects through to completion.
• Provide fact-driven root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain process training and certification documentation to ensure that operators clearly understand all position requirements.

This is a 6-month contract role. Candidates will work a hybrid schedule in Alpharetta, in-office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and remote on Wednesday and Friday.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 3+ years of Process Improvement/Continuous Improvement/Process Engineering experience
• Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt or higher certification
• BPMN 2.0 trained
• OCM certified
• Bachelor's degree

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• 4+ years in the Energy Sector
