HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER EXPERT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
- Work directly with the project sponsor to debug and implement solutions
- Work on top tier High Performance Computers (HPC)
- Utilize your knowledge in FOTRAN and C++ software development, to develop and use code on HPCs
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or MS Degree
- Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience ; 5 years of experience with Coastal Storm Modeling System (CSTORM-MS).
- Required Technical Skills: HPC, FORTRA, C++, Coastal Storm Modeling System (CSTORM-MS)
- Security Clearance Level: Secret
- Required Skills and Abilities: Problem solving, strong communication, software debugging
- Location: Remote

The likely salary range for this position is $110,614 - $97,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee’s date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
