Senior Accountant - 4 Days Remote

About the Company and Opportunity:

• Our client non-profit Washington, DC whose goal is to eliminate barriers for opportunity and see people in the communities to be happy, healthy, and successful!
• Due to a leave, they are hiring a temporary Senior Accountant in their Washington, DC office to work hybrid (4 days remote, 1 day in the office).
• Schedule: M-F, 8-4:30p, 37.5 hour work week.
• Duration: 3-4 months
• Pay: $40-43/hr depending on experience

Overview of the Senior Accountant role:

• Account reconciliations (revenue, pledges, bank, etc.)
• Journal Entries
• Assist with ME and YE Close
• Ad hoc projects/reporting

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Workday experience is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
