Job Description

Summary

Our client, a Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Company, has engaged GForce Life Sciences to provide a Capital Projects Project Controller and Scheduler. This position will report to an Associate Director of Facilities Project Management. This individual will be mainly responsible for providing leadership in planning and scheduling of all construction phases as well as monitoring project performance.

Duties / Expectations of Role

• Provide high level scheduling oversight to the ED&C program
• Implement project controls tools and methodology
• This work will include interfacing with project management and site personnel for the development of detailed integrated schedules for the engineering, procurement and construction scopes of work
• Perform daily tasks using a variety of industry and proprietary software tools, including Primavera P6
• Supports and incorporates ED&C Quality Management standards and processes
• Provide regular project updates
• Assemble supporting documentation to meet project team and client requests

Mandatory Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in controls and project scheduling
• Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
• Experience, knowledge, and a track record in project management techniques, concepts, principles, and standards.
• Proficient in advanced techniques with relevant software.
• High proficiency with general Microsoft applications, including MS Project and Share Point. Experience with project management applications.
• 5+ years of experience with Primavera P6
• Anticipates business and industry issues; recommends product, process or service improvements

Term & Start

• 12 Month Contract with the possibility of becoming permanent
• ASAP
