Department/Unit Summary
The surgical suite includes a 10-room unit with a vast array of specialties serviced daily. With seventeen surgeons utilizing block time you can learn to circulate and assist within specialties like Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, ENT, Spine, and Pulmonary. The addition of the Mako and da Vinci robots, show our commitment to best practice and a patient first attitude. With several nurses working this unit for 15 years or more, the availability for training and mentorship is abundant. What sets us apart from other units is the multidisciplinary teamwork with all of us having the same goal: provide safe, quality, and compassionate care close to home!

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current VA (or Multi-state) RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Additional requirements include:
·2 years of previous, progressive management, or clinical charge nurse experience, required
· American Heart Association Basic Life Support, required
· CNOR, preferred
