Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Quality Manager to join our team in the automotive manufacturing industry. The Plant Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all plant operations comply with quality standards, customer requirements, and corporate guidelines. This role is vital to managing and improving the Plant Quality System, driving continuous improvements, and ensuring the highest quality in both production and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent customer requirements internally and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Define and monitor Plant Quality objectives, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Manage the Plant Quality System in accordance with company excellence practices and quality standards.
• Build, staff, and develop a high-performing Plant Quality team.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards within the plant.
• Report quality results to relevant stakeholders and maintain accurate quality documentation and records.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing team on Supplier Quality Assurance initiatives.
• Make decisions to halt manufacturing or delivery if product quality is compromised.
• Perform any additional duties as required by management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's degree.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Proven track record of managing customer relationships effectively.

Skills and Competencies:

• Solid knowledge of quality management and production processes within the automotive industry.
• Strong process orientation with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High ethical standards and a commitment to compliance with the company's Code of Ethics and Management Code.
