Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Clinical Pharmacist to play a crucial role in implementing healthcare strategies and improving patient health outcomes. This position involves executing patient intervention programs, ensuring compliance with clinical pharmacy services, and optimizing pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, a strong understanding of pharmacy regulations, and a commitment to enhancing overall healthcare experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and oversee direct patient care programs, including Medication Therapy Management (MTM), Immunization Services, and Clinical Adherence Programs to improve patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, pharmacy best practices, and FDA guidelines while continuously optimizing clinical processes.
Work closely with medical professionals and patients to support proper medication usage, drug therapy reviews, and patient education.
Provide clinical consultations to patients, physicians, and insurance providers to ensure appropriate medication therapies.
Conduct medication and clinical reviews to guarantee safety, accuracy, and efficacy.
Foster strong relationships with medical communities by acting as a trusted liaison and representative for pharmacy services.
Support staff training and development, providing resources and guidance to ensure best practices in pharmacy operations.
Drive financial performance by executing pharmacy programs that enhance patient care while optimizing reimbursement opportunities.
Offer superior customer service, using excellent communication skills to build trust and address patient concerns.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the pharmacy industry, regulations, and emerging healthcare trends.
Ensure adherence to all HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality protocols in handling patient information.
Required Qualifications:
PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with at least one year of experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting.
Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate state board.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to motivate teams and drive operational success.
Experience handling confidential patient information with professionalism and care.
Ability to work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Strong time management and multitasking skills to effectively handle multiple responsibilities.
Self-motivated, able to work independently, and knows when to escalate concerns.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills to support both patients and healthcare professionals.
Willingness to travel up to 10% for business purposes if required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Willingness to obtain additional state pharmacy licenses as needed.
Familiarity with insurance plans and pharmacy billing practices.
Experience with pharmacy management systems such as Intercom, Promise, and Plus.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
