Job Description

Offshore Coating inspector required for a vessel repair, offshore USA.

Responsibilities:

• Point of contact for shore team for coating repair scope on the REV and SRW fields. Report on progress, planning look ahead ect.
• Liaison between project management, OCM, and vessel management to coordinate day to day operations.
• Supervising the coating repair team(s) and coating inspector offshore.
• Responsible for overall quality of the repair works. (ensuring the team follows the procedure, and that the procedure delivers the desired result).
• Responsible for delivery of the coating repair reports in close cooperation with the coating inspector.
• Ability to write MOCs in case deviations of the scope or conditions.
• Monitor paint / tool consumption and initiate procurement of new supplies in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• University or Higher Professional Education: related to the engineering discipline.
• Coating Certifications.
• Strong communicator.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Prior experience with offshore coating and/or QA/QC work.

Eye for detail.
