Job Description
- The IT Project Manager will work closely with the Deputy CIO, IT Project Manager, and PTP project team members.
- The position is remote and the equipment will be shipped to you.
- Updating the state project management system (Touchdown) on a weekly basis.
- Tasks include tracking PTP team member hours worked per week, percentage complete of key work streams, and related financial and project status information.
- Must use tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, and related MS tools.
- Responsible for scheduling and coordinating working sessions, touchpoints, and project meetings.
- Responsible for taking minutes during project meetings.
- Will support and facilitate project documentation and templates.
- Must provide PowerPoint presentation slide support and produce and edit reports.
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience with IT project management.
- PMP certification is highly desired but not required.
- Requires strong communication skills.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience with Microsoft Project, Office 365 applications, including SharePoint, and MS Team.
- Familiarity with Visio is highly desired.
- Familiarity with financial accounts is highly desired.
