Job Description

West Coast Furniture Division with Leggett & Platt - is looking for a confident and highly motivated individual that's interested in a great entry level telemarketer/ lead generator opportunity. As an entry level telemarketer/ lead generator you play a crucial role in generating leads and expanding our customer base. Your primary responsibility will be to make outbound calls to potential clients, promote our Sleeper’s mattresses, and secure the sale.

 

• Conduct outbound calls to potential customers and introduce them to our line of sofa sleep mattresses in a professional environment
• You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to buy sofa sleeper’s mattresses. A successful telemarketer must be friendly and persuasive.
• Identify and qualify potential leads through effective questioning techniques
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions in a log
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about mattress options.
• Use scripts to provide information about product's features, prices etc. and present their benefits
• Record the customer's personal information accurately in a computer system
• Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information
• Maintains phone time or sales as determined by management.
• Other duties assign by Supervisor.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in English
• Ability to build rapport quickly over the phone
• Self-motivated and target-driven mindset
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
• Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.  Create relationships from a cold start.
• Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
• Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
