Sports Research has an opportunity for a full-time, experienced Logistics Associate to join our amazing team here in Torrance, CA 90501. This role ensures domestic and international transportation coordination, documentation, raw materials, and smooth flow of dietary supplement and health & wellness products to retail customers and wholesalers.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Arrange, book and monitor pick up and deliveries of outbound domestic and international key account orders including Costco, Costco Canada, Costco Japan, Walmart, iHerb, Kroger, Target, Meijer, Vitamin Shoppe, GNC, and Coupang (Korea).
• Ability to accurately utilize key account portals, when required.
• Communicate efficiently with vendors and Sports Research departments both verbally and via email.
• Create accurate bill of ladings, purchase orders (PO’s), and packing slips.
• Use correct Harmonized Tariff Codes (HS) for international shipments.
• Maintain and save required files for all transportation and goods.
• Communicate, update, and track logistics information in meetings, google drive, and excel spreadsheets.
• Gather information and work with trucking company drivers face-to-face to resolve problems when pickup discrepancies arise.
• Understand shipping carrier timelines.
• Obtain freight pricing and timeline quotes.
• Process transfer orders (TO) in a timely manner.
• Handle inbound system inventory.
• Provide backup support to the Product Flow Specialist for e-Commerce.
• Investigate discrepancies between NetSuite ERP and 3PL inventory.
• Updates system with when inventory is received.
• Ensure a high degree of detail and focus.
• Effectively handle stressful issues such as re-scheduling of delivery, terminal congestion, receiving and resolving warehouse unloading issues.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in logistics, both domestic and international for large retailers
• Logistics background in dietary supplements is a plus!
• Use of basic Excel spreadsheets
• Experience with Google docs
• Systems knowledge of NetSuite ERP, Worldship, and navigation around Vendor Portals
• Excellent time management skills
• Dependable and reliable
• Meticulous
• Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment
• Analytical and always one step ahead
• Positive attitude with teammates and leadership
• Can solve problems, organize, and shift priorities effortlessly
• Know how to identify where help is needed and offer it before asked
• Familiar with shipping carriers, including but not limited to, XPO, Echo, Chapin, Freight

Working Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Working Conditions : This role works in a collaborative indoor office setting.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour depending on experience.
