Dewberrys Raleigh, North Carolina office is currently seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer for designing building, facilities, and infrastructure-type structures. The Individual will perform structural analysis, design, modeling, calculations, and plan production. Types of projects would include design, renovation, and/or repairs to industrial, school facilities, higher education facilities, office buildings, commercial buildings, water and wastewater structures, civil/site structures, and perform structural forensics/condition assessments.

• The candidate will work on a wide variety of projects including schools, health care centers, higher education facilities, office buildings, industrial buildings, commercial buildings, structural evaluations, civil/site structures, and water/wastewater treatment facilities.
• Individuals will perform complex building analysis on all design phases, structural modeling, structural calculations, and plan production.

• Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a structural focus.
• Masters degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (preferred).
• FE (EIT) certificate required.
• Familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office software.
• Experience using structural software such as RAM, RAM Elements, STAAD, Enercalc, TEDDS, or Tekla is preferred.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
