Job Description

Saturn Management is a family-owned Property Management company that services 35 properties and 200 units across the Palms, Culver City, Mid City, LaCienega, Marv Vista, and Venice areas. We are seeking a full-time Director Of Operations to coordinate and oversee day-to-day operations for our organization which has been around for 30 years.

We’re looking for the Director Of Ops role to implement and improve our service and maintenance processes and practices for the Property Management team. The D.O. position will be very hands-on; traveling to different jobs, managing tenant expectations, overseeing unit upgrades/maintenance efficiency, and reporting to 3 key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and manage staff for property maintenance, renovations & turnovers
  • Vendor management
  • Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee efficiency
  • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
  • Work with Appfolio Property Management Software
  • Manage and coordinate City & County code enforcement inspections
  • Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
  • Handle tenant relations and respond to tenant issues and inquiries
  • After-hours emergency maintenance support & coordination

Position requirements:

  • Must have good communication skills (written and oral)
  • Proficient in email, Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Extremely savvy with Tech and Systems
  • be bilingual (English AND Spanish)
  • Must have reliable transportation – job involves going out to properties daily
  • CA Driver’s license and auto insurance required
  • Minimum 2-3 years of Property Management or Construction experience
  • 5 years of Operations experience
  • 3-5 years of Operational Leadership experience

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary 95k - 100k (annual bonus potential), will offer medical
  • Anthem medical coverage (50% employee covered)
  • 6 days sick, 1 week vacation/40 hrs (upfront after a 90-day probationary period)
  • 6 federal (Christmas, New Year's Day, July 4, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day)
