Join Our Team as a Safety Officer!

Condustrial Inc. is a leading skilled trades staffing company, proudly serving the commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and marine industries. We deliver top-tier craftsmen to projects across the Lowcountry and beyond.

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Safety Officer to join our growing Lowcountry team!

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety by facilitating compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines. Your primary goal will be to create a safe working environment and help prevent injuries and accidents.

We will fully prepare you and provide the tools to offer safety certification courses, including:

• OSHA 10 and 30
• Flagging Certification
• MSHA Part 46/48

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement OHS policies and programs
• Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics
• Teach certification courses such as OSHA 10, MSHA 46/48, and Flagging
• Organize educational seminars and webinars regularly
• Review and update existing safety policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
• Collaborate with HR to develop a new employee safety onboarding process
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures
• Identify safety process bottlenecks and recommend timely solutions
• Monitor employee adherence to safety rules and regulations
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports on accidents and violations

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Safety Officer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety practices, and hazardous materials
• 3+ years of experience preparing reports and writing safety policies and procedures
• Proficient with MS Office and familiar with safety management information systems
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to conduct data analysis and report statistics
• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or a related field preferred (not required)
• Occupational Health and Safety certification required
