Our client, a leading organization in the IT sector, is seeking a
Part Time Service Desk Support Representative to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the IT department supporting various functions within the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Service Desk Support Representative 

Location: Austin, MN

Pay Range: $21.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Operate the corporate office computer equipment and monitor nationwide data communications lines and remote computers to ensure consistent and dependable services.
• Provide after-hours service desk support for the company, including all locations and subsidiaries.
• Support various functions of the data center/service desk, including email content administration and user provisioning.
• Perform hardware/software troubleshooting and support as needed.
• Assist in coordinating efforts with third-party providers to resolve technical issues.

What's Needed?

• Basic understanding of computer networks, components, and endpoint devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, etc).
• Ability to apply independent thinking to analyze complex problems and prioritize multiple concurrent issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to take corrective actions with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a service desk/help desk setting is preferred.
