AI Agent & Custom GPT Development for HR
As an AI HR Intern, you will work onsite/hybrid with our team to design, build, and optimize custom GPTs and intelligent agents specifically tailored for human resources applications. This position offers hands-on experience in developing practical AI solutions that address real-world HR challenges while collaborating directly with our technical and HR teams.
Location : Onsite/Hybrid (Ephrata, PA)
Duration : 3-6 months, up to 40 hours a week
Department : HR Innovation Lab
As an AI HR Intern, you will work onsite/hybrid with our team to design, build, and optimize custom GPTs and intelligent agents specifically tailored for human resources applications. This position offers hands-on experience in developing practical AI solutions that address real-world HR challenges while collaborating directly with our technical and HR teams.
About Us We are seeking a forward-thinking Computer Science intern to join our HR Innovation Lab. Our organization is pioneering the use of custom AI agents and GPT-based solutions to transform traditional HR functions into more responsive, personalized, and efficient operations.
Responsibilities - Design and develop custom GPT models focused on HR use cases
- Build autonomous or semi-autonomous AI agents that can handle specific HR tasks
- Create prompt engineering solutions that optimize AI performance for HR queries
- Implement retrieval systems to integrate company-specific HR knowledge
- Test, evaluate, and iterate on AI agents based on user feedback
- Document development processes and create user guides for HR team members
- Participate in team meetings and collaborative work sessions onsite
Requirements - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field
- Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript
- Experience with API integration and web development
- Understanding of large language models (LLMs) and their capabilities
- Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts
- Basic understanding of human resources functions and workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work onsite at our office at least 2-3 days per week
Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience developing custom GPTs or working with OpenAI's API
- Knowledge of agent frameworks (like LangChain, AutoGPT)
- Experience with vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
- Understanding of conversational AI design
- Familiarity with HR systems and data structures
- Experience with UX/UI design for conversational interfaces
