Seeking Remote Pharmacist Excellent Flexibility | Opportunity for Growth | Offers Benefits Job Description: Your main role will be utilizing your clinical skills to complete utilization management reviews, including prior authorizations, coverage exceptions, and quantity limit exceptions. You will complete these reviews independently amongst a team of your peers and other pharmacy professionals.
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct utilization management reviews such as prior authorizations, coverage exceptions, and quantity limit exceptions.
- Work independently within a team of pharmacy professionals.
- Meet monthly quality and productivity goals.
- Participate in potential training for specialized cases like oncology, hepatitis C, and other complex conditions.
- Possibly cross-train for other departments such as Medication Therapy Management (MTM) or Call Center Counseling (CCC).
Skills & Qualifications: - Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent
- Current pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy in the State where the candidate is licensed.
- Previous PBM or Case/Care Management experience.
- Retail experience (ex: CVS, Walgreens, etc.) highly preferred or Hospital experience
- Proficient with learning new computer systems, basic IT troubleshooting, and using multiple monitors.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
